September 2005 Winners Announcement

September's Winners are listed below.

September's winners and finalists include songwriters from Australia, Luxembourg, Cypress, The Virgin Islands, Spain, The United States Canada, United Kingdom, and Switzerland.  If you were not selected in the top 5 of your category you can still enter the songwriting contest in another month.  This month's winners/finalists include four returning winners and finalists from previous months. A special congratulations to Joe Merrick who placed as a winner in both the Country and Folk category in September's round. There will be a different set of judges involved each month. This is to ensure that the song selections are not limited to the same judge's opinions throughout the year.

The September songwriting  judges have sent Song of the Year their picks and the results are listed below. Vocal ability and production quality was NOT taken into consideration. A full instrumental production is not needed. For example, Micheal Brandmeier's pop winning song is a simple acoustic recording with vocals and guitar. The winners are picked by songwriting alone.

The 1st place September songwriting winners in each category will now compete against the other 1st place songwriting monthly winners from 2005 in their respective category. One song from each category will then move on to compete against the other yearly winners from the other categories for the Grand Prizes. The top 5 winners/finalists from each category in September's round will have their material submitted to labels, publishers, and more!
