Listed below are some guidelines for creating and submitting banners and links to Song of the Year. These guidelines have been created to ensure quality and efficiency of space on the webpages. While we cannot guarantee the quality of a banner image, we highly recommend adhering to the size, resolution and color profile specs given below to ensure the best quality possible. 

• Maximum size for a "short&wide" banner is 600x120pixels at 72dpi. Text buy-line will be located below the ad.
• Maximum size for a "tall&narrow" banner is 200x200 pixels at 72dpi. Text buy-line will be located to either the left or right side of the banner (you may specify).
• Text buy-line must be no longer than two sentences or 200 characters.
• Banners and Text-Only links will be linked as you specify. If you do not specify a URL, we will link the banner to your 'home/index' page.
• Text-Only links will be fronted with the company name or URL (hyperlinked), followed by a hyphen, then the buy-line.
• Song of the Year shall determine what order all banners and links are to appear on the page. We will rotate the order from time to time.
• All banners must be in 8-bit paletted color, either JPEG or GIF. Animated GIF banners are acceptable, although the banner owner is responsible for ensuring the operation of the GIF.
• No banner may exceed 500KB in file size, including animated GIFs!
