December Songwriting Contest Results

The December 2007 songwriting winners have been announced. The top placing songs include songwriters from The United Kingdom, Poland, Spain, The United States, Australia, Croatia, and France. The songs were judged on songwriting alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. A full instrumental production was also not required. For example, the Folk winner placed with a simple vocal/acoustic guitar "live" recording while the "Adult Contemporary" and "Gospel" winners placed with a simple guitar and string arrangement.  Song of the Year maintains a different set of judges each month to ensure that different opinions are determining the winners throughout the year. The top "monthly" winning songs from each category from 2007 are currently in front of the judges who will determine the "Yearly" results.
