October's Songwriting Contest Results

The October 2007 songwriting winners have been announced. The top monthly songs include songwriters from all over the world including The United Kingdom, The Russian Federation, The United States, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, New Zealand, and Sweden.  The songs were judged on songwriting alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. A full instrumental production was also not required. For example, Katie Brady won the "Folk Category" with a simple vocal/acoustic guitar recording. Evie Haskell won the "Adult Contemporary" category with a simple vocal/piano recording. Song of the Year maintains a different set of judges each month to ensure that different opinions are determining the winners throughout the year. December 2007 is the last chance to enter your material into the 2007 songwriting competition.
