September's Songwriting Contest Results

The September 2007 songwriting winners have been announced. The winners and finalists include songwriters from Australia, France, New Zealand, Malta, Canada, Germany, Nigeria, The United States, Austria, Trinidad, and Brazil. The songs were judged on songwriting alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. A full instrumental production was also not required. For example Jamie McNeill, David Zuder, and Karen Salstrom all received a finalist placement with a simple vocal/acoustic guitar recording. Song of the Year maintains a different set of judges each month to ensure that different opinions are determining the winners throughout the year.
