May Songwriting Contest Results

The May 2007 songwriting winners have been announced. A special congratulations to Sara Jaffe from Cyprus who received a finalist placement in both the Rock and Country categories in May's round. The songs were judged on songwriting alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. A full instrumental production was also not required. For example, the Christian Category winner placed with a vocal/piano recording while the Folk winner placed with a simple vocal/acoustic guitar recording.  Song of the Year maintains a different set of judges each month to ensure that different opinions are determining the winners throughout the year.
