August Songwriting Contest Results

August's songwriting contest winners and finalists include songwriters from New Zealand, Italy, Canada, The United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, The United States, Sweden and Germany. A special congratulations goes out to Kenny Buchanan who was a finalists in both the "Instrumental/Jazz/World" category as well as the "Adult Contemporary" category. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. Production/mixing quality was also not taken into consideration. The winning songs were selected only by the songwriting aspects of the material.  Song of the Year maintains a different set of judges each month to ensure that different opinions are determining the winners throughout the year.
