January Songwriting Contest Results

January's winners and finalists include songwriters from Australia, The United Kingdom, Germany, Cypress, The Netherlands, The Untied States, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, and Mexico. The songs were judged on songwriting alone. Vocal ability and production/mixing quality was not taken into consideration. Five songs that placed in January's round were simple acoustic/vocal recordings as well as one live recording. Song of the Year maintains a different set of judges each month to ensure that different opinions are determining the winners throughout the year.
