Rebecca has been selected as a two time "Finalist" in the Song of the Year song and lyric competition. "Your love is like a knife" placed in November's round and "Nu" placed in December's round of the 2005 competition. Song of the Year receives entries from all over the world and only the top five entries achieve "Finalist" status.

Rebecca has also been seleted as a "Winner" in the February 2005 round of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition for her song "Picture Me".

Rebecca has been selected as a "Suggested Artist" in the August 2007 round of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition for her song "Wait For Me".

Rebecca has also been selected as a "Runner Up" in the September 2007 round of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition for her song "Give Me A Sign".

Rebecca has also been selected as a "Honorable Mention" in the 2010 round of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition for her song "Hollister Smile"
