September Songwriting Contest Results
The September songwriting winners have been announced. The top songwriters from September's round are from The United States of America, Australia, The United Kingdom, Germany, The United Arab Emirates, and Canada. A special congratulations to Fiona Mackenzie who received two "finalist" placements in September (one Adult Contemporary Category placement and one Folk Category placement). The top songs were judged on "songwriting" alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. A full instrumental production was also not required. For example, the Adult Contemporary and Christian/Gospel winners placed with piano/vocal recordings. The Rock and Folk winners placed with simple acoustic guitar recordings. Song of the Year maintains different judges each month to ensure various opinions are determining the winners throughout the year. |
