August Songwriting Contest Results

The August 2007 songwriting winners have been announced. The songs were judged on songwriting alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. A full instrumental production was also not required. For example, Andrea Standley won the Folk Category with a simple vocal/acoustic recording. Song of the Year maintains a different set of judges each month to ensure that different opinions are determining the winners throughout the year.
