September's Songwriting Contest Results
The September 2009 songwriting winners have been announced. The top songwriters were from The United States, Australia, Canada, The Faroe Islands, The United Kingdom, Portugal, and Germany. The judging was based on 'songwriting' alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. A full instrumental production of the material was also not taken into consideration. For example, forty percent of the songs that placed as Winners or Finalists in September's round did so with simple 'vocal/piano' or 'vocal/acoustic guitar' recordings.
