May's Songwriting Contest Results
The May 2009 songwriting winners have been announced. The top songwriters were from The United States, Taiwan, Germany, Greece, Australia, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, and Canada. The judging was based on 'songwriting' alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. A full instrumental production of the material was also not taken into consideration. For example, the Folk winner placed with a simple acoustic guitar/vocal recording while the Adult Contemporary winner placed with a simple acoustic guitar/vocal/percussion recording.
