The March 2009 songwriting winners have been announced. The top songwriters were from Australia, The United States of America, Sweden, Hungary, The United Kingdom, Bermuda, New Zealand, and Canada. The judging was based on 'songwriting' alone. Vocal ability and production quality was not taken into consideration.
