December Songwriting Contest Results

The December songwriting winners have been announced. The top songwriters from December's round are from The United States of America, Canada, Finland, The United Kingdom, Australia, Sweden, Italy, France, Israel, Germany, South Korea, and Greece.

The top songs were judged on "songwriting" alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. Additionally, production quality was also not taken into consideration. For example, Deanna Loveland won the "Christian/Gospel" category with a simple vocal/piano recording while Jarrett Burns won the "Folk Category" with a vocal/acoustic guitar recording.

A special congratulations goes out to Ray Phillips who received both a "Winner" and "Finalist" placement in the "Country Category" in December's round. Song of the Year maintains different judges each month to ensure various opinions are determining the winners throughout the year.
