February Songwriting Contest Results
The February 2008 songwriting winners have been announced. The top songwriters are from Ireland, The United States, Germany, The United Kingdom, Israel, Italy, Denmark, and Botswana. The top songs were judged on songwriting alone. Vocal ability was not taken into consideration. A full instrumental production was also not required. For example, the "Folk Category" winner placed with a simple acoustic guitar/vocal recording. A special congratulations to Michael Wittig who received a Finalist placement in the "Adult Contemporary" category while also winning the "Pop Category" within February's round.
