Avery Stafford has been selected as a "Winner" in the March 2007 round of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition. Song of the Year receives entries from all over the world and only one song from each category achieves "Winner" status.

Avery Stafford has also been selected as a "Runner Up" in the December 2007 and March 2009 rounds of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition. Song of the Year receives entries from all over the world and only the top entries achieve Runner Up status.
