Andreas Mario has also been selected as a "Runner Up" in the June 2006, November 2006 and December 2006 rounds of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition. Song of the Year receives entries from all over the world and only the top entries achieve Runner Up status.

 Andreas Mario has been selected as a "Honorable Mention" in the December 2007 round of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition. Song of the Year receives entries from all over the world and only those artists who display particular talent or creativity receive such recognition.
