Song Expression

d

Relatability – Song’s ability to communicate a message that the audience can easily relate to

Visualization – Song’s ability to convey a visual image of the story or message that the audience can easily imagine

Engagingness - Song’s ability to engage the audience while holding their interest and attention throughout the entire work

The percentages displayed on the chart titled “Your Song” are the scores for your material. This chart compares the relatability, visualization, and engagingness of your song to that of a “well rounded” song likely to be a top ten hit. An “ideal song” (based on the chart on the right) would be one that has relatively equal percentages of each of these three elements. Any score 20% or higher indicates that those elements of your song are on the right track.
